The Flagstaff Hill Falcons Netball Club is proud to be a family-focused, community-driven club. Our players thrive when parents, carers, and volunteers are actively involved and supportive both on and off the court.

Every season, our club relies on the time, energy, and generosity of volunteers to help create a positive and enjoyable experience for all players.

Supporting your Child

Netball is about much more than winning games. It helps young players build confidence, teamwork, resilience, friendships, and a lifelong love of sport.

Parents and carers play an important role in supporting their child by:

• Encouraging effort, improvement, and enjoyment
• Promoting good sportsmanship and respect
• Supporting coaches, umpires, and team officials
• Helping children arrive prepared and on time for training and games
• Creating a positive and encouraging environment
• Celebrating teamwork, participation, and personal growth

Positive support from the sidelines helps players build confidence and enjoy their netball experience.

Supporting the Club

As a volunteer-run club, we rely on families and community members to help throughout the season. Even small contributions make a big difference.

There are many ways parents and volunteers can get involved, including:

• Coaching or assistant coaching
• Team managing
• Umpiring
• Helping with scoring, timing or as primary carer at games
• Assisting at club events and fundraising activities
• Supporting trials with setup and pack-up
• Joining the club committee or helping behind the scenes

No matter your experience level, there is a role for everyone within our Falcons community.
