At Flagstaff Hill Falcons Netball Club, we welcome players of all ages and skill levels to be part of our supportive and community-focused club. Whether you are new to netball or an experienced player looking for a team, we would love to hear from you.

How to Join

Players can register their interest to join the club during the pre-season registration period. Information about registrations, important dates, and trial details will be shared through our website and social media channels.

Before the season commences, players are required to attend trials as set by the club.

Trials

Trials are held to help place players into teams that best suit their age, skill level, experience, and development goals. Our aim is to create balanced teams where all players can enjoy the game, improve their skills, and build confidence.

During trials, players may participate in:

• Skill-based drills
• Match play activities
• Fitness and movement exercises
• Teamwork and communication activities

Our coaches and selectors work hard to ensure the process is fair, supportive, and positive for all players.

Team Allocation

After trials are completed, players will be allocated to a team. Team selections are based on a range of factors including:

• Skill level and experience
• Player development opportunities
• Team balance
• Age requirements
• Availability of positions

Every effort is made to place players in a suitable team where they can continue to develop and enjoy their netball.

Families will be notified once team allocations have been finalised, along with details about training times, season dates, uniforms, and next steps.

Player Trials & Registration

There are two options:

1) Trial First and pay $50 fee

• If you decide to proceed to register for the season, then this trial fee will be deducted from the PlayHQ registration fee via a unique discount. This will be emailed to you and can be applied at the checkout stage on PlayHQ.
• Full registration must be paid within 2 weeks of trials.
• There are no refunds for trial fees.

2) Complete Full Registration via Play HQ

• Please only select this option if you are committed to playing for the season as there are no refunds once teams have been allocated.

Please note: If you have not paid the trial fee or full registration then you will not be able to trial.

Trials will be held at Flagstaff Hill Sports & Community Centre, Coromandel Street, Flagstaff Hill on the following dates and times:

Trials for 2026/27 Summer Season will be announced in July/August.

2026 Winter Season Fees

• Juniors - $346.50 club fee per season
• Seniors - $364.25 club fee per season

Sports Vouchers

Sports Vouchers is a State Government initiative administered by the Office for Recreation and Sport (ORS). The program is an opportunity for primary school age children from Reception to Year 9 to receive 2 x $100 discount vouchers from sports club/membership fees.

Vouchers can be claimed through PlayHQ when registering.
