Coaches

At the Flagstaff Hill Falcons Netball Club, our coaches are at the heart of everything we do. They help players build skills, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteer coaches to join our Falcons community across all age groups and experience levels. Whether you’re a current or former player, a parent, or simply someone who enjoys working with young people and being part of a community club, coaching is a rewarding way to get involved.

Why Coach with the Falcons?

Coaching offers far more than just game-day involvement. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Help players develop their skills and confidence
  • Make a positive impact on young athletes
  • Build leadership and communication skills
  • Stay connected to the game you love
  • Be part of a supportive and welcoming club community
  • Develop friendships and lifelong connections
  • Gain valuable experience for personal or professional development
  • Continue learning through coaching resources and mentoring

No Experience? No Problem

You don’t need to be an elite player or experienced coach to get started.

The Flagstaff Hill Falcons Netball Club supports all coaches with:

  • Guidance from experienced club members
  • Access to coaching resources and development opportunities
  • A supportive team environment
  • Encouragement and mentoring throughout the season

We welcome coaches of all experience levels and are happy to help new coaches build confidence and skills.

  • 9&U Teams
  • 12&U Teams
  • 13&U Teams
  • Inters Teams
  • Senior Teams

Coaching roles can be flexible, making it easier to fit around work, study, and family commitments.

Join Our Falcons Community

Volunteering as a coach is one of the most rewarding ways to contribute to our club and help shape the next generation of Falcons players.

If you’re interested in becoming a coach or would like more information, we would love to hear from you.

To help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all players, all coaches are required to hold a valid Working With Children Check before commencing their role with the club.
