Finals

Congratulations to all our teams this season for all there efforts. To our teams playing finals this week good luck.

Tuesday 27 February we have four teams playing get out and support them.

Inters 1 start time 6:30pm in what should be a great game to watch.

All other games are starting at 8:00pm

Registrations via PlayHQ are now open for Winter season, please register prior to trials.

Our fees remain the same as last season.

Winter 2023 Finals

Congratulations to all of our teams for competing in the winter season. It has not been an easy season for myself having taken on the role of President and with other changes in my work life but with support of the helpful club members here we are at the end of the season playing finals. I would like to shout out to all of you, who have put in your best efforts over the season in a variety of cold and wet conditions, without you we have no club. Secondly to our Coaches who have spent many hours working on development and training plans and to our dedicated Umpires who without we actually cannot play a game.

Finals are an exciting time for all players as well as our umpires who get selected. With some split division finals 10 of our 12 teams are playing in the coming weeks and the two teams who have missed out have only done so by the smallest of margins.

Good luck all of you over the finals campaign and let bring home a trophy.

2023 SUNA Junior Carnival

The Southern United Netball As sociation (SUNA) Junior Carnival for U13 & U11’s was held on the 30 July. As a club we had two 11 and under teams nominate and with our depleted 13 and under squads only had one team nominate. Congratulations to these teams for their efforts over the day in what was pretty wet and unpleasant conditions. Congratulations to the parents who looked like they had a good fun day as well, braiding, coloring hair and dressing up. Also a big thank you to our club umpires (Adele Alderson & Ella Koukourou) as well who without these teams cannot play.

Under 13 Div 5

These young ladies had a great day finishing with a two win three loss record. You can see the development in these players and they were full of smiles and energy all day. The coach also got some positive feedback from our ring in umpire for the day.

Under 11 Div 3

Thanks to Sam and Tanya for bring out this team of girls. In a seven team division things were always going to be a little strange and as we had a bye we only played four minor round matches, three wins and a loss. At the conclusion of the minor round we in second spot on the same points and the exact same percentage (for and against) as the team in third. There was a long discussion about who was in the finals but as per the ladder with Falcons in second spot we played of in the final. A strong effort by the team but alas they were no match for Oakdale and lost 7 to 3. Congratulations on making the final and having a fun.

Under 11 Div 5

Just falling short of finals finishing in third sport (three wins and a loss) this young ladies had a great day. It goes to show that when they are graded into the right division, they play some great netball and will become a force in the coming years.

Lastly, a big shout out to everyone who help in our toasted sandwich fundraising efforts raising about $750!

U13 Premiers

Congratulations to Ash and Team 1 for an amazing win tonight.

Not only did they win but they shot a total of 507 goals for the season!!
